A creative sonic explorer who is poised to add excitement to the soundscape of the Nigerian and international music landscapes is introduced in ITS ABOUT THAT TIME.

Nano Shayray, an up-and-coming artist from Abuja, creates a six-track EP that epitomizes Afro-fusion by fusing sounds from many genres and expressing himself in both pidgin and English. His laborious writing work is accompanied by Profetik, an accomplished producer from the city of Abuja, with whom he has worked for seven years.

The EP entirely exhibits an African combination of Zambian vocabulary and tonality, with just one feature from emerging Zambian sensation “Jay Trigga.”

“It’s About That Time,” the EP, is here, an Afro-fusion album jam-packed with enough ear-pleasing tracks to keep you enthusiastic about the future of Nigerian music and Nano Shayray as an artist.
