ISHAQ BABA BELLO, known professionally as EESKAY is a 24 year old Nigerian songwriter and recording artist from the Okene L.G.A of Kogi State. EESKAY’s sound combines Modern Drill music with Afrocentric elements such as indigenous language and domestic slangs to give birth to the genre known as “Afro-Drill”.

Early musical influences include the likes of Drake, Pharrell, Wizkid and Skepta etc. Bello began his musical journey in 2017 with releases of The Matter and ‘Redy’, a fan favourite featuring ‘Tedmilez’ and ‘Reeplay’, while undergoing his undergraduate degree program. Fast forward two sold out headline shows (2019 & 2020), notable co-signs from top acts such as YCEE, Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Oxlade, TG Omori etc., countless shows nationwide and over 3 million streams across streaming platforms, EESKAY is still fresh off the release of his two-track ep Appeetizer and debut project ‘DRILL.OR.NAH’ with notable singles such as Zero Traffic, Chicken Repubs and Agbalagba which is undoubtedly one of the hardest Afro Drill songs out of Nigeria.
