Bella Shmurda, the president of Dangbana Republik and an Afropop sensation, is slated to release his highly anticipated EP named ‘DND’ on July 26. Following the huge success of his debut album, ‘Hypertension,’ which has received over 250 million global streams, Bella Shmurda hopes to create a one-of-a-kind musical experience with this new endeavor.

The word ‘DND,’ which stands for “Do Not Disturb,” neatly captures Bella Shmurda’s 2023 worldview. Throughout the year, he has teased this new musical cosmos with songs like ‘NSV’ and ‘Ara,’ which have received over 50 million online plays.

The title single ‘DND,’ featuring acclaimed afropop artist Lil Kesh, leads the EP release. The song was produced by Rewardbeatz, who is recognized for his work with musicians such as Davido and Kizz Daniel. It blends afrobeats and amapiano, producing the perfect soundtrack for Bella Shmurda’s proclamation that he doesn’t want anyone to distract him from his leading lady. With an intriguing guest verse, Lil Kesh adds his signature style, making the music impossible to skip.

Bella Shmurda explains the inspiration for ‘DND’ and its development, saying, “Rewardbeatz crafted the instrumental and recorded a demo in the studio with Lil Kesh. Kesh then sent the draft to me for feedback. I listened to it and immediately started recording my thoughts in that moment, and that’s how ‘DND’ was born. The song perfectly captures my current headspace, where I don’t want to be disturbed while I do things my own way.”
